Top Gear Power Lap Board

Can you be the fastest?




Day / Time
All Week
Event opens at Saturday Midday 12:00
Event Closes Friday Night 23:59
All event times MUST be submitted in this thread no later than 23:59 on Friday night. All late entries will be classed as DNF

This gives you a whole week to post your best time





The Car.
The car will be a chosen and posted.
There will be NO Tuning, car must run as per factory.
Oil changes and Engine rebuilds are allowed.



The Tracks.

The track will be the Top Gear Test Track

Points will awarded as follows for the fastest times:

1st - 10
2nd - 6
3rd - 4
4th - 3
5th - 2
6th - 1



Event Rules


All times submitted must have a "Best Lap Replay" to be sent IF requested

Grip reduction set to REAL
All cars must be standard.
ABS 1
Driving line NOT allowed
ALL OTHER AIDS MUST BE TURNED OFF

The GT Drivers ORG apply.

You should know we dont do gently here.

Great car, major turbo lag, sports hards on the limit but a major smile factor

I'm in and I've set a (What I think is) a reasonable time, which is 1'xx.xxx Lol
In that short space of time, I went through 3 sets of wood and 2 sets of cake.

2 questions though Steve...

1) Is this being done on practice in GT Mode or in the TT section in Arcade Mode?

2) Are we setting the fuel and tyre depletion on?

These and these are to be read by all!

I should have said.

It will be done in Practice in GT Mode.
And no tyre fuel depletion as the real cars get 1 shot at setting a time do still carrying full fuel and tyres.

Don't mean to throw a spanner in the works but if you need to verify replays, they are much better from the arcade version of the game. If memory serves me correct you can't view the GT Mode practice replays closely. Things may have changed with the patches but that was certainly the case when I ran a TT.

It turns out I don't have an F40 Doh

Plus I've been on a bit of a spending spree and don't have enough to buy one.
